Emily Rose

UK Dancer Emily Rose trained professionally at the Arts Educational Schools London & Anglia Ruskin University, holding a BAHons in Performing Arts.

Emily’s teaching & choreography career spans over 15 years of experience in 12+ genres of dance, alongside drama and vocal tuition. She brings an array of experience and opportunities into the Norfolk area due to her active position in London’s dance community, having recently taught at “MOVE IT” 2024 (the worlds biggest dance experience event), and hosting regular pop up masterclasses at “The Manor LDN”. Emily has lectured at BTEC, and diploma levels 2 & 3 in dance, musical theatre & singing.

For 2025, she will be joining Move It’s Creative Advisory Board, advocating for inclusion from a variety of different angles. Emily says her mission statement is:

“That my end goal is to see children/young people from all areas of the UK benefit from the same level of artistic opportunities, regardless of their locality or background”.

Emily is a fully qualified UDO street dance teacher, and can teach the ISTD contemporary syllabus, in addition to working towards her DDE in ISTD modern. She regularly competes teams of young dancers in national and international dance competition circuits, with great success. Emily has also frequently rehearsed children for touring UK musicals and formed a working relationship with Saddler’s Wells in 2011 working as a local rep for their tour of “Breakin’ Convention”.

Emily currently focuses a lot of her attention on choreographing, filming, editing & producing her own creative work. You can see her portfolio of filmed work @_emilyrosedance_.  Most recently Emily has undertaken freelance choreography work for Potters Theatre Company. In 2023 she choreographed a piece for the college showcase at Can You Dance UK. Emily currently teaches at Noise & Chance School of Dance, D16 Performing Arts College, DPA, and regularly guest teaches at other colleges such as Eden Theatre Arts. She also holds pop-up classes at The Manor LDN.

Emily’s performance credits include original workshop cast of “Loserville”, (written by James Bourne & Elliott Davis). Emily has focused the majority of her professional creative career around teaching and choreographing, and has had the opportunity to work with some incredible choreographers in London, resulting in music video opportunities as a dancer herself (Emili Sandé, Rtizt, Turbo, The Pilmore Project).
